Family Craft Friday: Painting with Toys

Here’s a fun project to do with the kids! Have your kids hunt for toys, that are washable, preferably plastic, like toy trucks, and drag out the paints. Pour some paints out on a plate and run your toys through the paint. If you’re using a toy truck, drive it, gently, through the paint and then have it roll across your paper. Use these different toys to make different patterns and shapes. You can also use marbles, baseballs, hair brush (or a doll’s brush) Barbie shoes, or anything else at the bottom of your toy box. You could even go so far as to make it a guessing game: Which toy made what pattern?

Now go and enjoy making some new art for the refrigerator art collection!
